If Only I Could Wish For A Better Place

Don't anyone wishes that this place were better than it already are?

Don't you wish that there are no war?
That the world has achieved what the beauty pageant's people used to say "World Peace"?

Don't you wish for a better tomorrow?
Where there are always food on the table.
Where there are always water provided for our daily use.
Where there are children playing in the playground, outdoors like they used to ages ago and not get in harm's way?
Where kids act like kids and have fun like they usually do instead of growing up to fast?
Where children would always listen to what their parents tells them to do and never make them sad?
Where parents makes wonderful jobs nurturing, caring and educating their children that they grew up to be better people? Better leaders?
Where our leaders nowadays care for the people more than their own selves?
Where the leaders nowadays help his people like he helps himself and his family?
Where there are no corrupted people?
Where there are no crime or the crime rate has miraculously decreased?
Where the people would work hard to serve not only for themselves, but also for their religion, their race, their country. As the saying goes "Agama, Jiwa dan Bangsa."
Where people would help each other and not turn the blind eye for the needy?
Where the people would work together to solve problems?
Where freedom of speech is still FREEDOM?

Don't we all wish that life is so much easier?
Where all our problems would fly away easily and the need to face it is no longer viable.
Where things would go our way and not screw up every now and then?
Where help comes just in the nick of time to save our butt?

Well I do.

But sometimes when things get in our way,
we can't just wish it away.
And write it in a blog, hoping that it'll all come true.
We can only pray...and hope for the best.

Yes life is a pain in the butt sometimes.
And people just don't seem to get it.
And the world is stressing us out.
But that is part of what we have to face in our borrowed life here.

We cannot stop praying,
and hoping that everything would get better.
And not only pray.
We need to get in action too.

Do something.

Anything.
Rather than just watch the world crush into pieces from the walls and comfort of our own home.

Help.

Donate.

Get in action.

Live life to the fullest.

Who knows?

Maybe we ARE destined for greatness.

Let's Do Good This Ramadhan!

Assalamualaikum readers.

How was Ur iftar meal last night?
I bet the dishes were plenty right?

I bet the whole dining table must be full with lots of foods.
Sate, Rojak, Nasi Briyani, Ayam Madu Bakar, Ikan bakar, Ayam kepsi, Nasi Kerabu (sob sob),
If not, at least there must be foods on the table right?

Right after Athan,
It's not out of the norm to indulge Urself into all of those making a very-very full if not BLOATED stomach that sometimes people tend to procastinate especially for Maghrib prayers.
I know.
I've been there.

Then sometimes,
after we are full,
there must be some left-overs right?
What do U guys actually do with the left-overs?
Eat it later?
Eat it for Suhoor?

Or just put it in the Freezer hoping U'll remember to heat it up during Suhoor but later forget its existence....

Sayangnya...

Ehem.
Get to the point Zen.

Well, how would U like to do some good this Ramadhan?
Let's feed the fasting in some of the world's poorest countries!
I mean,
we don't have to go all the way there,
just simply DONATE!

Kesian kan saudara-saudara kita di sana tak makan macam kita.
Kita setiap hari ada ja makanan..
Diorang pulak berbuka pun belum tentu ada sebutir nasi pun di atas pinggan..

So, what are U waiting for?~!

Jom Buat Kad Raya!

Assalamualaikum guys. (and Jard)

Semua ni berpunca dari kawan aku sorang tu.
Aku perli dia sebenarnya pasal benda ni..

Lama dah tak buat kad sendiri...
Dulu pun main-main ngan kertas warna jak.
Ngan newspaper lama..
Magazine lama kakak aku.
Gunting-gunting pastu gam kat kad tu.
Pastu siap.

Sekarang.
Mau lukis lak..
Ngehehe~~

Tengoklah kalau rajin..

Pastu Isnin ni pos terus pegi Papar InsyaAllah.

Terjanji lak ngan kawan di Kuching jugak.

So I'll be making two Raya cards.

Only two days to make it.
Sempat tu~
Senang. *wink wink

Geramnyaa~

I'm soo geram right now.
From where I'm from, geram=GERGITAN

A few days ago, last Thursday, I just found out that there IS a bazaar nearby.
There are two actually.
One is only out there, in front of our campus,
the other, we have to walk 15 minutes to get there.

So, an idea from my friend.
"Jom kita p bazaar yang jauh tu...cuba try test kalau sedap..."

So, since we are young (kinda), we wanted to explore this place, ehem2... So, we all agreed.

The time is already 7pm, in just 30 minutes from now, is SUNGKAI!

*sungkai means berbuka puasa

So, we need to hurry.
After a while, (and much sweat diffused out of my body), we reached the place.

So maaany people!
So big ah that place.
So many types of food!
Not to mention, the flies are of wide varieties too!
Big, small, pink, green, one-eyed, you name it.

LOL.

I was starting to lose my appetite, but since I don't want the past to occur again, and we're not gonna make it if we turn back now, I had to buy at least something.

Something...

Something cheap....

I searched.

The Nasi Ayam had too little Ayam lah, too little Nasi lah, and the flies are already feasting all over it lah..
So hard to make a choice.

The first thing I bought was Yam-flavoured water.
RM2...In a supit.

*supit means plastic in kelantanese.

Then, gotta search for food.
It's almost all sold out, and it's 15 minutes left till sungkai!

Finally, I got lazy to roam around the bazaar again, so I stopped, and looked to the nearest stall.

"Kak, nasi satu!"

Hu..hampeh....x kna layan.

"KAK!!!! NASI SATU!"

Then she went and pick up a brown paper, fold it in place, and started filling it in with white rice.

Haha... I forgot it's my turn to buy for my friend, so I spoke up again.

"Kak, minta dua!"

"Dua?"

"Emm!"

Then she did another one.

Ok, now for the lauk..

The first thing I searched for was for some vegies.

I looked around but SADLY, no vegies.

So I had to go on another day without vegies in my system.

I opt for this huge chicken which I thought would only cost me around RM3-4 each.
My friend and I can share.
Hehe...

After I picked the chicken I want, I put it in a supit.

Then I asked, for assurance..and because I wanted to buy another one. Hehe

"Kak, yang ni berape ek?"

"RM6."

My eyes got bigger.

This small chicken (it's big, but not that big) is RM6?!!!

So I instantly cancelled my intention of buying another one.

"Berape semua?"

"RM10"

What?!

Let's recap what I just ordered from her.

2 bungkus rice, 1 overly expensive chicken.

1 bungkus rice should cost around RM1..at least.

RM2+RM6=RM8

Then why is she charging me extra RM2???

Hu! I don't care anymore!!

I don't have time.

I payed her, and took the food away.

Marah ni...
Geram...
GERGITAN...

That day, I spent RM12.

Hu~

That much money I can use to eat for 3-4 days...

Ikat perut la ni...

But, nevermind, in the end, although arrived late for sungkai with my already kebuluran friend, we had fun breaking our fast together.

And that's what matters in the end.

Selamat Berpuasa to every muslims out there!

Sabar2...

Zen go study~
